Columbia utilizes a fabric called Omni-Freeze Zero in some of their summer apparel. Especially when even a tad damp, it feels surprisingly cool on your skin. An excellent choice for hot weather, whether you’re on a hike, traveling, or, for instance paddling.
The underside of the brim has a stowable neck protector for very bright conditions, especially ones where light is reflected off ice or, for instance, desert sand.
